COMPLETED EMPOWERMENT OF BLACK DZAMBHALA on November 27th at 1:00 p.m.

Lama Kunga Rinpoche will kindly bestow the Empowerment of the Black Dzambhala at Ewam Choden on Sunday, November 27th.  The time is 1:00 p.m.  The practice of Black Dzambhala brings material wealth to help alleviate poverty as well as to give one the opportunity to practice generosity. Dzambhala also enhances spiritual wealth and personal growth towards ultimate enlightenment.

 

COMPLETED EMPOWERMENT OF RED TARA, Oct. 23rd at 1:00 p.m.

Lama Kunga Rinpoche will kindly bestow the Empowerment of Red Tara at the Ewam Choden Center on October 23rd.  Red Tara helps you to increase spiritual power.   This event is open to everyone.  The time is 1:00 p.m.  The requested donation is $30. with offering dana to the Lama separate.  Please arrive early to register, and be considerate of neighbors when parking.

COMPLETED HAYAGRIVA EMPOWERMENT Sunday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m.

Lama Kunga Rinpoche will kindly bestow the Empowerment of Hayagriva at the Ewam Choden Center this coming Sunday.  The practice of wrathful Hayagriva is said to especially remove general sickness, to purify bodily obscurations, and to give protection. The starting time is 1:00 p.m. Please arrive earlier in order to register.

White Umbrella
(Sanskrit: Sitar Tapatra, Tibetan: Dug kar)

Lama Kunga Rinpoche kindly bestowed the Empowerment of White Umbrella from the lineage of Bari Lotsawa.  She is known both as an emanation of Avaloktishvara and of Tara and her 1000 heads and 1000 pairs of arms reflect the combined powers of all the Tathagata Buddhas. Her Empowerment gives protection from negative emotions, harms,  afflictions and obstacles.

The location is the Ewam Choden center.  No advance registration is required.  The empowerment begins at 1:00 p.m. promptly so please plan to arrive no later than 12:30 p.m.

A donation of $30 is requested and dana (offering) to the lama is considered separate.

more on the 13 Golden Dharmas

The 13 Golden Dharmas were held closely by the Sakya Buddhist masters of Tibet for over 800 years.  These initiations empowering and training  students in the compassionate practices of the Bodhisattvas , encourage awareness, fearlessness, and caring.  Each “dharma” or empowerment is the entry into a meditation of the different esoteric aspects of wisdom, strength and compassion.  It is an extremely rare opportunity to receive these teachings that  were held in the highest esteem by the all  Buddhist lineages of Tibet and previously only given in the ancient temple at Sakya.  Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche is uniquely qualified having received these precious teachings from such masters as Lama Dampa Shenphen Nyingpo in Tibet.

Lama Kunga will present the meditation instructions directly in English in a manner that students can participate in the profound visualizations while the ritual goes on. This is a rare opportunity to receive this unbroken line of  instructions just as they were compiled  by Sachen Kunga Nyingpo from Indian masters  in the 12th century.
