Ganapati (Tibetan: Ganesha-Tsokdag) is a Buddhist embodiment of wisdom, and assists in the opening of ways and the removal of obstacles. He is red in color, with the head of an elephant, with eight arms and is dancing on one leg. Please see our Calendar for specifics, and all of our events!

EMPOWERMENT - Singhamukha / Aug 24, 2008


 

The Singhamukha Empowerment scheduled for Sunday, August 24th , rescheduled from June 2008.

Singhamukha, the Lion-faced Dakini, is a dharma protector and an enlightened form of female energy.  The practice of Singhamukha is beneficial for transforming negative mental projections, eliminating jealousy and protecting us from negative energies such as wars, natural disasters and epidemics.

Empowerment begins promptly at 1pm, so please arrive by 12:30pm. Suggested donation is $30 and dana offering for lama is separate.
