The Singhamukha Empowerment scheduled for Sunday, August 24th , rescheduled from June 2008.
Singhamukha, the Lion-faced Dakini, is a dharma protector and an enlightened form of female energy, who helps us to transform negative mental projections, repels jealousy, and protects us from negative influences including wars, natural disasters and epidemics.
Empowerment begins promptly at 1pm, so please arrive by 12:30pm. Suggested donation is $30 and dana offering for lama is separate.

Ewam Choden Tibetan Buddhist Center is located in Kensington, a residential community immediately north of Berkeley, California. Under the guidance of the accomplished tantric master Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche the center offers a wide variety of activities. Ewam Choden was one of the first Dharma Centers established on the West Coast, founded and continuosly overseen by Lama Kunga Rinpoche since 1973.

Every Sunday, Lama Kunga Rinpoche leads the Chenrezig Meditation, at the Center. This is a traditional Tibetan meditation focusing on compassion and begins promptly at 10:00 a.m., lasting 1 -1½ hours. The practice text we are using is available online for viewing or downloadable as booklet. Everyone is welcome!
