Each  every other week

Every other Thursday, when he is in-town and available, Lama Kunga Rinpoche offers a continuing class addressing the apsects of the Lojong, Buddhist Mind Training, based on the text by Jamgon Kontrol.

Lama Kunga  advises that this is a great class for anyone interested in Buddhist thought and practice.

His Eminence Thartse Ken Rinpoche


 

Ewam Choden is very pleased to announce to host the upcoming visit by His Eminence Thartse Ken Rinpoche in the Fall 2008. Abbot of the celebrated Ngor monastery , this will be his first visit to the united States. Please check back for more information regarding registration!

EMPOWERMENT - Singhamukha / Aug 24, 2008


 

The Singhamukha Empowerment scheduled for Sunday, August 24th , rescheduled from June 2008.

Singhamukha, the Lion-faced Dakini, is a dharma protector and an enlightened form of female energy.  The practice of Singhamukha is beneficial for transforming negative mental projections, eliminating jealousy and protecting us from negative energies such as wars, natural disasters and epidemics.

Empowerment begins promptly at 1pm, so please arrive by 12:30pm. Suggested donation is $30 and dana offering for lama is separate.

 

 


 

Vajrayogini Class
Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche is teaching a 1½ to 2 hour class on the Vajrayogini practice in the Sakya tradition every Monday, 7:00 p.m. The class is open to Vajrayogini initiates in the Sakya Tradition only, and you have received both Hevajra and Chakrasamvara initiations.

Sunday Meditation

Every Sunday, Lama Kunga Rinpoche leads the Chenrezig Meditation, at the Center. This is a traditional Tibetan meditation focusing on compassion and begins promptly at 10:00 a.m., lasting 1 -1½ hours. The practice text we are using is available online for viewing or downloadable as booklet. Everyone is welcome!
